Shredding Old Documents

Many seniors accumulate paper documents they no longer need but may be private (e.g., old bank statements). Not only will you enjoy more space, but your children will also appreciate finding important documents without what we normally call "search and rescue" among hundreds of papers. Many towns offer "Shred Days" where they allow residents to drop off any documents that need to be shredded free of charge. If you are looking to clear out some of your old documents, check with your town to see if they offer a "Shred Day".
